Introduction to CMC-MX built-in bypass soft starter:
CMC-MX built-in bypass motor soft starter is a voltage regulating and current limiting intelligent asynchronous motor soft starter based on trigger closed-loop algorithm. Its superior power electronic circuit detection and advanced closed-loop control algorithm make the starting and protection functions more perfect. The built-in bypass contactor contact adopts a magnetic retention type contactor, which is different from other external bypass AC contactors that operate with electricity for a long time. This product is noise free, electromagnetic pollution-free, spark free, and environmentally friendly.
CMC-MX built-in bypass soft starter function:
It can start/stop the motor smoothly without any step, avoiding mechanical and electrical impacts caused by traditional starting methods such as direct starting, star/delta starting, and self coupling voltage reduction starting. It can also effectively reduce the starting current and distribution capacity, avoiding investment in capacity expansion. At the same time, the CMC-MX soft starter integrates current transformers and contactors internally, so users do not need to connect them externally.

8. MODBUS-RTU communication

The terminals 1L1, 3L2, and 5L3 of the soft starter are connected to the three-phase power supply, and 2T1, 4T2, and 6T3 are connected to the motor. No external bypass contactor is required, and the soft starter can select whether to detect phase sequence through parameter settings.
Triangle Inner Connection Diagram
If the user uses a triangular internal connection, they must strictly follow the following diagram for connection, otherwise it may cause damage to the motor or soft starter. Before starting the machine, the motor wiring will be checked. If there is a wiring error, the soft start will report a wiring error fault.

Note: Internal delta connection refers to the series connection between the motor winding delta thyristor and the winding. The main advantage of inner triangle control is that soft starters can be selected for derating. In the inner triangle connection method, the current flowing through the soft starter and motor is 1/√ 3 of the line current. The above table uses a margin selection soft starter, selected according to the line current/1.5 times the rated current. During the selection process, users can further reduce the rating and select a soft starter according to the actual situation.
